Utility Streetlight Conversion — February 2026
FirstEnergy and its regional utility Met-Ed are implementing a mandatory statewide LED streetlight conversion program affecting 63 Met-Ed–owned streetlights in Mount Gretna. The Borough is coordinating with the utility on program options. Conversions statewide are scheduled to occur between 2025 and 2029.
