Borough Council periodically issues public information bulletins to keep residents informed on topics under active review or coordination. Bulletins are provided for general information and do not establish Borough policy.

Utility Streetlight Conversion — February 2026

FirstEnergy and its regional utility Met-Ed are implementing a mandatory statewide LED streetlight conversion program affecting 63 Met-Ed–owned streetlights in Mount Gretna. The Borough is coordinating with the utility on program options. Conversions statewide are scheduled to occur between 2025 and 2029.
